My mother in law recently raved about this brand. Even though I do not have dandruff or dry scalp, I thought I would give it a try. I always use a color shampoo, simply because the conditioner used seem to work best for me. The shampoo is very nice, strong smell, but lathers well and rinses well. The surprising thing is my hair seems fuller at the root, even without using a root lifter. Soooo…… what is it about the ingredients that could cause this effect when I haven’t had the same result with other color shampoos.
Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Fragrance (Parfum), Dimethiconol, Sodium Chloride, Carbomer, Dimethicone, Sodium Lauroyl Isethionate, Zinc Pyrithione, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, DMDM Hydantoin, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Stearic Acid, Citric Acid, Tallow Acid or Palmitic Acid, Zinc Sulfate, Glycerin, TEA Dodecylbenzenesulfonate, Sodium Isethionate, Poloxamer 407, Laureth-23, Laureth-4, Tocopheryl Acetate, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, PPG-9, PEG-9M, Panthenol, Lysine HCl, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Xanthan Gum, Methylisothiazolinone, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Niacinamide, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Ascorbic Acid, Mica (CI 77019), Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Red 33 (CI 17200)
I like the way the shampoo performs, and its at an ok price point, but the scent is overwhelming, so I would like to find an alternative. But I just don’t know which ingredient is the one that might make the difference… Any thoughts??

You might try another dandruff shampoo with this ingredient to see if you get the same kind of feel.November 17, 2015 at 7:05 pm #95322Mandy94MemberThanks !!
