Dangerous chemicals in cosmetics spur action by lawmakers

This video was on CBS news today. The narrator and Senator Feinstein both say the word “chemicals” like it’s a dirty word, so the story sounds a little hokey. What do you think?This is another over-hyped story. I can’t believe the news reporter actually says cosmetics are like the “wild west” and that they are “largely unregulated.” Still, the newly proposed law is not a bad idea (as we’ve discussed here The new Personal Care Products Safety Act – what you need to know Episode 81. The big companies in the industry are already following most of the provisions.
