Another winter and another claim that room humidifiers really help.
I think they have sometimes but mostly I’m not seeing or feeling any difference and I’m not sure what was happening when they did work.
My aging , but still oily, skin could use some help that doesn’t mean a heavier moisturizer so am I missing something?
Are there humidifiers that work reliably?

When the humidity is low your body tends to lose more moisture through your skin. (This is called TransEpidermal Water Loss or TEWL). Humidifiers raise the humidity in the room and thereby reduce the amount of moisture that escapes from your skin.

So yes, humidifiers can really help. I’m not sure why sometimes you see a difference and sometimes you don’t.

    Thanks.
    I’ll try them again.
