December 15, 2015 at 7:37 pm #92368sas22MemberHi!I am in my mid 30’s and have started noticing a change under my eyes. They’re a little more dry, puffy, dark and little wrinkles are starting to make an uninvited appearance.I just visited my dermatologist’s office and she recommended 2 eye cream options:-Neova Refining Eye Lift Cream-Revision D-E-J Eye CreamI am always a little weary of eye creams as to whether they really work or not. But, I’m willing to give one a shot at this point. Was hoping you could shed some light on whether either one or both of these could actually be worth the purchase? Thanks so much!December 15, 2015 at 10:18 pm #95383sas22MemberSorry should have added the products ingredients for you….Neova Refining Eye Lift Cream:Water, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Polyacrylamide, C13 14 Isoparaffin, Laureth 7, Acetyl Hexapeptide 3, Polysorbate 20, Alanine/Histidine/Lysine Polypeptide Copper HCl, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Sodium Carboxymethyl Beta Glucan, Camellia Oleifera Extract (Green Tea), Vitis Vinifera Seed Extract (Grape), Glycerin, Ubiquinone (Coenzyme Q10), Oenothera Biennis Oil (Evening Primrose), Squalane, Ilex Paraguariensis Leaf Extract (Paraguay Tea), Centella Asiatica Extract (Gotu Kola), Echinacea Pupurea Leaf Extract (Coneflower), Saccharomyces Lysate Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Capric/Caprylic Stearic Triglyceride, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorophenesin, Methylparaben, Benzoic Acid, FragranceRevision D-E-J Eye Cream:Water (Aqua), Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Water, Glycerin, Tetrahexyldecyl Asccorbate, Caprylic/Capric/Myristic/Stearic Triglyceride, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Palmitate, Helianthus Annus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Unsaponifiables, Cetyl Esters, Sorbitol, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cetearyl Alcohol, Hypnea Musciformis Extract, Glyceryl Stearate, Peg-100 Stearate, Decyl Cocoate, Lycium Barbarum (Goji) Fruit Extract, Sorbitan Stearate, Methyl Glucoside Phosphate Proline Lysine Copper Complex, Dipalmitoyl Hydroxy Proline, Leontopodium Alpinum Meristem Cell Culture, Sargassum Filipendula Extract, Butylene Glycol, Panthenol, Caprylyl Glycol, Squalane, Phoenix Dactylifera (Date) Seed Extract, Butylene Glycol, Panthenol, Caprylyl Glycol, Squalane, Phoenix Dactylifera (Date) Seed Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydrolyzed Quinoa, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Steareth-10, Gelidiella Acerosa Extract, Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-14, Steareth-20, Hydrolyzed Myrtus Communis Leaf Extract, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Acrylate/Taurate Copolymer, Ethoxydiglycol, Potassium Sorbate, Tocopherol, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Polysorbate 60, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Brassica Campestris (Rapeseed) Sterols, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Sodium Benzoate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citric Acid.December 16, 2015 at 12:56 pm #95384RandySMember
Both contain peptides and there is SOME data showing peptides are good anti aging ingredients. If they’re reasonably priced then I’d say they’re worth trying but I don’t see any technology here that makes these products worth a lot more than other brands. Write back and let us know what you think after you try them!
December 16, 2015 at 1:44 pm #95385sas22MemberThanks so much for responding! Is there some other ingredient I should be looking for in other creams that could possibly be more beneficial? I’m open to any suggestions! Thanks so much!
December 16, 2015 at 2:14 pm #95387RandySMemberThere isn’t much out there that’s proven to work on puffy eyes or dark under eye circles. The best you can hope for is some moisturizing effect and to treat fine lines and wrinkles. As I said, peptides are good for this but be careful not to over spend.
