    If your indian friend can use it, I think I’d have no problems haha. But you were okay with it? I mean NC15 and NC35 are pretty different…?

    no I didn’t mean you were bashing Paula’s Choice :-) I only said it because you hear many people on the internet saying Paula’s Choice isn’t organic, and that she uses “chemicals” and so on. But I think her products are fine. Organic menthol, fragrance or citrus extracts aren’t that good for skin

    @preciousia

    well I want a sunscreen that is tinted, or is invisible on skin, I don’t like to apply foundation and powder, although maybe it’s unavoidable I don’t know. But I don’t mind using a cleanser, toner, exfoliant, antioxidant serum, a tretinoin product and seperate moisturizer, so I’m not the kind of guy that only wants 1 product to do it all ;-)

    @escherichia  i have no idea what her MAC shade is.. i am just guessing. it can even be NC45… lol but she is indian alright!!!

    i don’t think you can use the Cancer Council one though despite the high 20% zinc. if you like i can pop a sachet too so you can try. i really like the ingredients in this one. B3+E+Aloe+ Allantoin+ B5!

    @Peter I think you’ll like a lot of the “healthy” aussie brands. they really don’t like to include the “nasty” ingredients.

    and alot of weird Aussie native botanicals that no one has heard of either. hee

    I love Paula Begoun. I have her book!  ðŸ˜¡

    @Peter : You are more diligent than my hubby. He spends more time cleaning his LPs than his face :P

    Peter,

    Ah I see! I actually don’t care if a product is green/organic (sorry heh). I don’t even believe in the organic hype for foods/ingredients. While I’m not a chemist, I majored in biology so yep, I actually think PC’s products are very well-backed up in science, at least. Some of PC’s opinions are a bit outdated (like the NO to fragrances issue) but in general, her products look good. It’s just that I’m in Canada and don’t have easy access to it (as in, brick and mortar stores). Sad. sigh.

    The Swisse one is only AUD$25 for 60ml that’s about USD19

    https://www.priceline.com.au/swisse-natural-defence-bb-cream-spf30-60-ml

    and even though it is not TGA approved. our NICNAS are toughies too.
    An American company failed to get their oure mineral SPF50 primer approved. (wont mention names) so it is sold in USA with SPF50 and in Australia. nothing. not even spf30

    Preciousia,

    From the picture you uploaded, the Cancer Council really looks pretty white heh. After having swatched so many high ZnO sunscreens on the back of my hands/jaw… I can tell just from looking if the sunscreen would be too white for me lol. The Pure Mineral BB cream looks better but pretty dark eh. I have several BB creams (Etude House, Skin79, Coogi – sadly discontinued, ah so sad, this is my HG) so don’t worry about it!! :)

    @escherichia  if it is too dark, just mix it with your too white sunscreen lol

    the cancer council one is pretty see thru’ not so much coverage.. if you get what i mean. enough to tint the zinc but not enough to use as bb cream. it is marketed as tinted sunscreen only.
