Interested in thoughts on the Ecco Bella Skin Care Line.  Has anyone used this line and if so was it beneficial in terms of improving skin appearance/texture etc.??

The following is from their website and discusses something called Vitamin Cells, a delivery system for skin vitamins. I am skeptical of any company that promotes “only one of it kind”.  (Grammar not company’s strong point)

Ecco Bella Anti-Aging & Anti-Blemish Skin Care is the only one of it kind enriched with VitaminCells. It contains trillions of microspheres that deliver the world’s most powerful skin vitamins: Lutein, lycopene, beta carotene, astaxanthin, CoQ10, Vitamins C & Super Vitamin E deep into your skin to protect and rejuvenate it from stress, sun, environmental aging and blemishes. Discover the reset button for younger looking skin.

This is ingredient list for Natural Age Antidote Day Skin Cream

Ingredients: Aloe vera barbadensis*, VitaminCells: Soy lecithin non GMO liposomes with full-spectrum vitamin E with palm tocopherols & tocotrienols, vitamin C ascorbyl palmitate, astaxanthin, beta-carotene, lutein, lycopene, zeaxanthin, CoQ10; titanium dioxide, cetearyl glucoside, avocado oil persea americana*, sunflower oil helianthus anuus*, DMAE, cetyl alcohol, caprylic capric triglycerides, hyaluronic acid (water-binder), jojoba oil simmondsia chinensis*, extracts of calendula officinalis*, elder sambucus nigra*, matricaria chamomilla*; xanthan gum, essential oils of lavender lavandula angustifolia, rosemary leaf rosmarinus officinalis & geranium pelargonium graveolens, sodium levulinate, sodium anisate, sodium phytate. *Certified Organic/certifié biologique

    Thanks in advance for input,

Hi Lemon. I’m not familiar with this product line (but I did enjoy your grammar comment!)

The “Vitamin Cells” they refer to appear to be a type of liposomal delivery system – basically they’re encapsulating the vitamins and other goodies in an oil shell that helps protect them from the rest of the formula and MAY help increase skin penetration.
Theoretically this may provide a benefit but there’s no way to tell without digging into this further. My personal guess is that this is more marketing driven than anything else.
