After reading TheBeautyBrains – “Guide To How Beauty Products Work.” I wanted to mix a 2-in-1 shampoo formula of my own. The key ingredients to the “conditioning” part of this formula is a mixture of Glycol Distearate and Dimethicone. I found all the ingredients needed at the common online chemical suppliers but could only find the Glycol Distearate in a minimum quantity of 55 lbs.! I went ahead and ordered it, but now have about 50 lbs. too much! It worked out to cost about $5.00 / lbs. with shipping…….Would anyone like to buy some Glycol Distearate in smaller amounts of around 1 to 5 lbs.?Thanks,Scott Beinker

You might have better luck by posting this over at Perry’s other website, chemistscorner.com because I think there are more formulators in his audience.
