Hi!
I have been looking for a simple hydrating cream for eyes without any anti-aging ingredients. My skin is very sensitive and some of them give make my skin itch. I finally tried a cream suggested by a friend from German brand Balea. It feels very good and it is very cheap. The price make me think on whats really inside. I would be happy if you can have a look and let me know what you think. THANK YOU!The cream:List of ingredients:AQUA · UREA · GLYCERIN · DECYL OLEATE · SQUALANE · CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE · SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS SEED OIL · PERSEA GRATISSIMA OIL UNSAPONIFIABLES · C14-22 ALCOHOLS · SACCHARIDE ISOMERATE · PANTHENOL · C12-20 ALKYL GLUCOSIDE · SODIUM ACRYLATE/SODIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYL TAURATE COPOLYMER · PALMITOYL PROLINE, POLYISOBUTENE · SODIUM ACRYLATES/C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATES CROSSPOLYMER · SODIUM CITRATE · MAGNESIUM PALMITOYL GLUTAMATE · SODIUM PALMITOYL SARCOSINATE · SORBITAN OLEATE · HYDROLYZED ALGIN · CAPRYLYL/CAPRYL GLUCOSIDE · CHLORELLA VULGARIS EXTRACT · MARIS AQUA · TOCOPHEROL · LECITHIN · ASCORBYL PALMITATE · GLYCERYL STEARATE · GLYCERYL OLEATE · XANTHAN GUM · PHENOXYETHANOL · ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN · PARFUM.January 8, 2014 at 2:34 pm #93114RandySMemberThis appears to be a good eye cream for a couple of reasons:
1. It contains a high level of urea which is part of skin’s natural moisturizing factor.2. The primary oil is squalane which is very compatible with skin lipids.3. The rest of the moisturizing ingredients are “light weight.”4. The emulsifying ingredients (DECYL OLEATE and others) are mild and unlikely to bother your skin.As long as it’s reasonably priced and you like the way it performs – keep using it!January 9, 2014 at 3:07 pm #93118AdelinnaMemberThank you so much for the answer! I will happily continue using it now.
January 9, 2014 at 8:08 pm #93121RandySMemberAdelinna: I’m glad we could be of help. If you would like to return the favor could you please go to iTunes and write a brief review of our podcast? Perry and I would really appreciate it!
January 13, 2014 at 4:32 pm #93130AdelinnaMemberI went there, and it appears that to write a review I need to have an iTunes account which I dont have. I remember when I wanted to get it, iTines was not accepting customers based in Russia with Russian credit cards I will check again. Otherwise, are there other ways I could help?
January 13, 2014 at 5:00 pm #93132RandySMemberI didn’t realize you were in Russia but thank you for trying! Another way that you could help is to send us another question that we could answer on our podcast. Here’s the link with directions on how to submit an audio version, assuming that you have another question and that you’d like to hear your voice on our show!
Thank you! -
