    Hi Beauty Brains!

I recently came across a few new makeup brands and would love to hear you thoughts about the formulations, efficacy, and packaging safely. Here are the brands and links to their websites:
    RMS Beauty
    Milk Makeup
I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Here’s the “about” description from RMS Beauty:

The life force of the skin interacts with the life force of everything applied to it. Majority of cosmetics are dead. The chemicals they contain have no life force and therefore, cannot interact with the skin. It is the interaction – the synthesis of all ingredients, that creates a truly alive product, and truly alive skin! rms beauty is all about this synergistic interchange.

I hope they’re just speaking metaphorically because if this is meant to be taken literally it’s total B.S.
Milk Makeup may have perfectly fine products but they’re a bit misleading because of the way they present themselves as a “natural” brand:
“Our categories including eye, lip, face, skin and hair are paraben-free and made from the best possible natural ingredients including hydrating oils, fruit and vegetable butters, and thoughtful formulations with minimal to no preservatives. New Milk Melt technology, smooth textures, one- step application techniques and bold shades for a totally new take on makeup.”

Check out the ingredients for their “Hydrating Oil” stick:
C12-15 alkyl benzoate, Octyldodecanol, Phenyl trimethicone, Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, Dibutyl lauroyl glutamide, Dibutyl ethylhexanoyl glutamide, Vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, Persea gratissima (avocado) oil, Prunus armeniaca (apricot) kernel oil, Citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel oil, Citrus limon (lemon) peel oil, Tocopheryl acetate
Given the first three ingredients I’m curious what their definition of “natural” is.
And of course the fact that they claim to use “minimal to no preservatives” is NOT a good thing!
