November 2, 2016 at 9:25 pm #92650amyMemberI’m trying to figure out if my favorite concealer is possibly breaking me out. I’ve googled the top 5 inactive ingredients and am getting mixed results. the ingredient I’m most confused over is Polyethylene. it’s not listed as Polyethylene glycol (which some people do think is bad for acne), — unless almay made a typo in the package design. There also seem to be a few types of silicone, which seems to be debatable online whether it exacerbates acne or not. It’s not the sunscreen, as my skin is totally fine with Octinoxate and Zinc Oxide.I LOVE this concealer and am sick of trying / throwing away a million tubes in my search. if anyone could give me feedback on the ingredient list, I’d be most obliged.Almay Age Essentials Concealer:

You could try doing a half face test to see if this is the product breaking you out but that could take weeks or even months to do.
If Almay says the products was tested to be hypoallergenic that gives you some indication but even that’s not for sure. -
