I discovered this today.  It would save me a step, and is cosmetically much nicer than my skinceuticals spf 50 tinted sunscreen.  I could use it as sunscreen and makeup in one.  I know Paula doesn’t like it, but frankly, I tried it on in the store, and didn’t have any problem spreading it on generously.  I wouldn’t use it on a beach or park or long walk day, but for work days spent almost entirely indoors except for sun exposure through the window glass of my car, do you think it could cover me enough for UVA damage?  It doesn’t have a ton of ZO, that is my concern.

The real issue here is whether or not you’re applying enough of the product to get the full SPF effect. Based on everything we’ve seen (check this article for details) you need to apply about 1/2 tsp of SPF lotion to your face.

This product sells for $34 for 1 ounce. There’s about 30 mLs in an ounce and about 2.5 mLs in a 1/2 tsp. That means you’ll get roughly 10 applications out of a tube which breaks down to a little less than $3.50 per use. Sounds expensive to me but if you like it, go for it as long as you apply enough product.

Thanks!  Good points, Randy.  Dang.  It is so nice cosmetically though.
