Hello I was wondering what your opinion is of the Lab Series Eye Age Rescue from Lab Series? I recently purchased it after reading decent reviews and just wondered your opinion? I know you don’t need a seperate eye cream but sometimes like to splurge! Ty so much
January 25, 2014 at 4:53 pm #93241RandySMemberIt appears to be a nice lightweight moisturizer. Here are the ingredients if you’re interested:
Water, Methyl Gluceth-20, Glycereth-26 Polyethylene, Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Tromethamine, Morus Bombycis Root Extract (Mulberry), Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Chlorella Vulgaris Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Fish (Pisces) Cartilage Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Sodium Glycyrrhizate, Linoleic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Cholesterol, Caffeine, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, PEG-25 Soya Sterol, Sucrose, Oleth-10 Polysorbate 80, Acrylamides Copolymer, Carbomer, Sodium Sulfite, Sodium Metabisulfate, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Isopropylparaben, Isobutylparaben(Strange that in this day of “parabens are bad” it has used no less than FIVE of them!)I wouldn’t get my hopes up on the claim of “Dramatically diminishes the appearance of dark circles” although it might help a little by plumping the skin up with moisture.Since this stuff is $33 for a half an ounce I’m curious to see if you repurchase it.January 26, 2014 at 2:10 am #93261shawn41MemberThanks for the response! How do you think this is for anti aging benefits? ( within reason of course) What is your opinion of parabens? From info I have studied there is no proof that there is problems using parabens. Oh and I paid 38.00 for one once lol. Only products I seem to repurchase are Paula’s Choice
January 26, 2014 at 9:02 am #93263RandySMemberAccording to the latest data, the main parabens (methyl and propyl) are fine. I believe that the other parabens are still being scrutinized.
There are no true anti-aging ingredients in this formula (no retinol, or AHA for example). But it will hydrate skin which is always a good thing.January 26, 2014 at 12:52 pm #93267shawn41MemberThanks so much Randy Have you heard of any yourself that are good for anti aging purposes for under the eye? I do currently use a BHA lotion exfoliant along with cerave and the lab series one I mentioned below the eye area each day. Have you heard much on the Olay Pro X eye cream? I noticed that has decent reviews. Thanks again and sorry for all the questions!
January 26, 2014 at 4:13 pm #93268RandySMemberIn general the Olay products are extremely well done, I wouldn’t hesitate to give that one a try.
