Does the loreal steampod have any benefits/differences from a regular flat iron? i was thinking of getting it and instead of using regular water, use something acidic like diluted apple cider vinegar to seal the cuticles, would that work?
The Steam Pod will help give you smooth hair because it’s essentially doing a hot wet set as you flat iron. However, that won’t “seal” the cuticles. Apple Cider Vinegar won’t help either. (I’d expect that if you use this product too often it could actually cause the cuticles to lift up because the steam could swell the hair shaft – but that’s just a guess.)
