So I finally figured out how to apply my makeup so that I don’t feel as though I have to go right to the bathroom and wash it off.  It isn’t that it irritates my skin (sometimes it does).  Rather, I just hate the feeling of makeup on my face.

At any rate, my routine now is as follows:
I use neutrogena oil free moisturizer with a drop of licorice extract (mixed together in my hand), followed by hydropeptide solar defense sunscreen.
I apply Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide foundation with an Hourglass finishing brush No. 7 (similar to a kabuki brush).  I use only one large drop for my whole face.  I finish with Nars light reflecting setting powder.  My favorite blush at the moment is Becca Cosmetics Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle in Fig/Opal followed by Nars powder blush in Unlawful (both are nude-apricot shades).
My eyes are the difficult step right now.  I can use Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in smoke (matte dark gray).  But as soon as I apply mascara, I want to wash it off.  It isn’t an allergic reaction.  It isn’t even much of a reaction at all.  It’s just that my eyes are more comfortable when my lashes are naked.  I’m wondering if I should go back to Blinc mascara.  Right now, I’m using a different brand of tubing mascara.  My eyes just feel faintly (and I mean, really faintly) irritated by it, just a touch more watery than they normally are.  They aren’t even irritated enough to turn red or water much at all.  But I just want that stuff off of me.  I don’t have to use mascara.  I do have naturally dark brown lashes.  But I just like the look of it.  Any suggestions?  I do best with tubing mascaras.
