I am looking for a good foundation.  Because I have sensitive skin, I will need to cast a wide net to find a product that agrees with me.  I don’t want to limit myself to only certain brands.  But when I go in Sephora, I sometimes have a hard time getting them to match me in a foundation that isn’t considered either “natural” or “hypoallergenic.”  Am I mistaken, or are “natural” and “hypoallergenic” really marketing terms that are not useful?  And any tips on arguing them out of only showing me bare minerals or Clinique products much appreciated.  Aaargh.

You’re correct that “natural” and “hypoallergenic” are terms which are more driven by marketing than true science. Personally I think it’s a waste of time trying to argue with sales people on points such as this.
