Hello,
Our cosmetic chemist has formulated a hair oil, which she made with no preservatives on the basis that it is anhydrous and thus low risk. We are about to go into testing and she is now suggesting adding either Phenoxyethanol or Chlorphenesin. We really want to avoid using a preservative unless it is absolutely essential. Is it?
