Hello, I had a friend in the 80’s who used a bath/skin care product which left her smelling that clean smell for hours afterwards and I have spent a long time looking for it.I don’t know where my friend is otherwise I’d ask her. After reading a lot of reviews, I latched on to maybe Prell shampoo, maybe Ivory soap or Camay soap? I don’t really want to buy a fragrance which smells “clean”.I am looking for the genuine product. I even read Irish Spring soap is good but it’s for men.Anyone?
If by “genuine” products you mean unscented then they may not smell very good. Press, Ivory and Camay are all fragranced. Fragrance preference is very subjective so I can’t say which products you’d like but you can use Irish Spring even if it’s for men.

scents in particular are often too cloying for me. But “natural” smells
don’t — peppermint, tea tree, vanilla and powdery talc are all things I think smell
awesome.Just trying to find one which lasts a few hours after the shower or bath.I personally like pre de provence soaps but they cost a fortune. The one I think you’d like is their green tea. Also their cucumber. I think dove has a green tea one too, if I’m not mistaken.
Oh yeah, you might like the verbena, too.
