My hair likes, really likes, the Mud&Clay shampoo bar from Chagrin Valley and I’ve no real idea why.
I got the sample size, along with others, but this wasn’t something I was expecting.
What is it with mud and clay that hair likes?
Why does the combo clean gently and well?

If you can post the ingredients I’ll take a look at it.

    Sure thing :

Ingredients: Organic Coconut Oil; Sunflower Oil; Olive Oil; Virgin Shea Butter; Water; Sodium Hydroxide*; Castor Oil; Rice Bran Oil; Dead Sea Mud; Rhassoul Clay; Sea Kelp; Essential Oils of Lavender, Lemongrass, Lemon; Rosemary Oil Extract (a natural antioxidant)

*Used during the Saponification Process to turn oil into soap.
None remains in the finished product.
All real soap is made with saponified oils!

I don’t really know but my guess is that the bar is “super-fatted” with extra oils and that’s what your hair likes. The mud and clay are probably present at low levels and are less likely to have any effect.

    Super fatted shampoo?
My hair loves it and, given how long the sample is lasting, the price is no problem!
Thanks, I now know what to look for.
