This shampoo claims that most shampoos leave “dulling films” on hair due to silicones, conditioning agents, and pearly ingredients. This shampoo doesn’t have any silicones, but it has some polyquats, miscreants, and thickeners. My hair is color treated and dry, so I tend to use moisturizing shampoos. What do you think?

    Humectants* not miscreants

This appears to be a nice sulfate free formula but the basis for the product is that, unlike other shampoos, it doesn’t contain ingredients that dull hair and cause hair loss. This is a false premise.

Personally I think it’s ridiculous to spend that much money on a shampoo. Unless it’s formulated with miscreants.

I thought a miscreant was just a bad person. What is a miscreant? I think their claims about silicones and conditioning agents are bizarre especially because the conditioner contains both silicones and polyquats… Very strange.

Lol! Thanks Randy!! So a creamy shampoo with silicone won’t dull hair or affect hair color, even when compared to a clear shampoo without silicone? I definitely don’t agree with the hair loss claim. And Patrick, I agree, conditioners contain these ingredients, including the conditioners from this brand.
