    I wear sunscreen everyday. However, I also have very oily skin and have to blot it multiple times daily. How does this affect the sunscreen’s effectiveness. Does it make a difference if the product is water resistant or not? It is of particular concern to me during the summer months because I don’t know if each time I blot the oil, whether or not it reduces the SPF of my sunscreen.

    Depending on how much you blot you could be removing some of the sunscreen which would reduce its efficacy.
