I’ve been put on a regimen of clindamycin phosphate gel 1% twice a day and azelaic acid (Finacea 15% gel) at night. Do I have to wait between applying the two for the first to absorb? Does it matter which order I do it in? There’s this study of a combination gel used, but I know it’s in different doses. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21612319
According to the Internet Drug list, “Do not use other topical preparations on the same area you use Finacea Gel unless directed by your doctor.” I think you’d better check with your doctor on this one, just to be safe.
