So, I searched about it on the forum and couldn’t find this topic. Still, sorry if it was discussed before.
I’ve been reading a lot about people treating acne with ACV. Usually they dilute it with water and use it as a toner, tho the most adventurous ones apply it neat on their faces. Others drink it just like that. Most of them swear by its efficacy.
From WebMD: ”Apple cider vinegar is fermented juice from crushed apples. Like apple juice, it probably contains some pectin; vitamins B1, B2, and B6; biotin; folic acid; niacin; pantothenic acid; and vitamin C. It also contains small amounts of the minerals sodium, phosphorous, potassium, calcium, iron, and magnesium. Apple cider vinegar can also contain significant quantities of acetic acid and citric acid. It is used to make medicine.”
There’s not enough scientific evidence suggesting it’s effecting against acne, but I was wondering if anyone else here every tried this kind of treatment. Granted, it’s really cheap, and I don’t believe there could be any kind of awful side effects, so my guess is that it could be worth trying.
