Hi there! I’m obsessed with your blog! Is there anything in the tresemme climate control line that would actually help protect from the sun or humidity any better than a standard shampoo/conditioner? I see ascorbic acid in the ingredient list, does this offer sun protection to hair? I’ve heard that vitamin c powder can dry out hair (not sure if it’s true) so it’s a bit confusing to me. Thanks so much for all the information you guys (including some ingredient savvy members I’ve seen post here) provide! 😡

The Climate Control line was designed to work as a system. The shampoo and conditioner provide protection from dry weather conditions by moisturizing/conditioning hair. The styling products provide protection from high humidity that can cause your hair to lose its shape. The line does not offer sun protection and the ascorbic acid is not added for that reason.

It’s a good product line but don’t expect miracles.
