I know I’m a little late to the party on this one, but I was wondering what you thought about the recent class-action lawsuit against EOS.
For those who don’t know, a class-action lawsuit was recently brought against EOS after someone used their lipbalm and had a pretty nasty reaction to it (you can Google pictures if you want). When the news got out, other users reported their own issues with EOS lipbalm. There have also been cases of people saying they found mold in it, but I assume that was from the lack of preservatives in the formula. The suit was recently settled, with EOS agreeing to update their packaging to mention the adverse effects people have had.What do you guys think? Was this a legitimate issue with EOS, or a case of a user just being sensitive to the product?I hadn’t heard the mold story but the lawsuit was certainly big news. Based on looking at their ingredients I don’t see anything “bad” in the formula but it’s certainly possible that some percentage of the population had an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients.
