    Can someone please explain to me what blacklight makeup is and how it works?I see it sometimes at Halloween so I figured it was some form of costume makeup. Here are some pictures and links to help you understand what I mean.

    The pigments used in this kind of makeup fluoresces under black light (which is UV light.) That means they absorb light at one wavelength and re-emit it another wavelength which creates that glowing black light effect.
