Hi, guys. I have some questions about exfoliators. Are all of you using exfoliants? I am using scrub type of exfoliat these days since I think it’s better to remove dead skin cells than other softer types of exfoliant. It was fine for the first several times, but these days, it hurts my skin a little bit while I am rubbing it on my face. I rubbed it really smoothly and I also tried to apply it with some water on my face, however, it still hurted and made my face (especially around my cheeks) became a little bit red after using it. Do you think I should stop exfoliating my face? Or try with other products again?

I tried a scrub exfoliator one time before, but I found out that it hurt the pimples on my face when I rubbed it over them, and I sometimes made the pimples even worse after using it. Have you ever used gel based exfoliants? They are soft and don’t hurt my skin at all, but still remove the dead skin cells so clearly that make my skin texture smooth. I’ve used Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel (http://www.sephora.com/exfoliating-peel-gel-P393292?skuId=1675297), Bioderma Sebium Exfoliating Purifying Gel(https://www.fragrancesandcosmeticsco.com/skincare/bioderma/sebium/cleanser/160312/sebium-exfoliating-purifying-gel-for-combinationoily-skin), and IASO Triple Action White Peeling Gel (http://go-iaso.com/products/iaso-triple-action-white-peeling-gel?variant=4244105859). There are some more I’ve tried, but they are what I was satisfied with and liked! I’m currently using the IASO’s these days, and I like it the most among them. It’s really moist even while I am exfoliating my skin and makes my skin texture super smooth after using it.
