eos Organic Smooth Sphere Lip Balm: Look at the label

Trying to crack into the top 10 best selling beauty products on Amazon.com this week is this eos lip balm. What makes it organic? Let’s look at the label.

As you can see from the ingredient list below, these eos products are  based on the following:

  • Natural oils for moisturizing (coconut, olive and jojoba)
  • Beeswax for body and stiffness
  • Shea butter for moisturizing also for thickness
  • Natural flavors (peppermint, raspberry and vanilla)

If organic sourced ingredients are important to you then you might consider this product. However, you’ll be sacrificing some degree of efficacy since these products lack the most efficacious moisturizers such as silicone and petrolatum.

Just checking to see if the comments are working!

Had no idea eos lip balm was “organic”, now I’m starting to get why all the hype about it (never tried it though).

Any comment on the class action lawsuit against eos? http://time.com/4179543/eos-lip-balm-lawsuit/
Might particular ingredients be more problematic than others? My daughter had a negative experience with eos lip balm and her lips improved almost immediately upon switching brands.
