MemberHi guys.
Wondering if there is something like “Febreeze for Hair”?I bought Oi All In One Milk leave-in conditioner, and while it does a good job on my hair the smell is overpowering. I should have known because nearly all the reviews mention that fact. Fragrance is high on the ingredient list – I wonder why they don’t use a better one. Anyhow, it’s pricey, so I want to use it up but sheesh! It claims the ingredients Provitamin B5 and Roucou Oil are the conditioning and antioxidant agents. Whatever, marketing. But it’s a pretty good product other than the Axe smell. Here is the ingredients list in case you’re interested.Aqua/water, eau ceteapyl alcohol, panthenol, parfum/fragrance, behentrimonium chloride, benzyl alcohol, tocopherol cetyl alcohol, amoduethcone cetrimonium chloride, amodimethicone, sisesouokane copolyver, sodium benzoate, trideceth-5 citric acid glycerin, trideceth-12 cyclopentasloame citronellol geranol phenoxyethanol, helianthus annuus seed oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, linalool alphasomethyl ionine limonene bixaorellana seed extract.June 15, 2016 at 6:31 pm #95836RandyS
MemberBad news: A lot of fragrance molecules are very small and can penetrate into fibers like hair. About all you can do is wash your hair multiple times (or apply something with an even stronger fragrance to cover up the original scent.)

MemberBleah. That’s what I thought, but wishful thinking made me believe you guys had a better answer! I will just look for same ingredients without fragrance next purchase! Although I MIGHT try Febreeze, ha.

MemberWouldn’t the smell dissolve if you just blow dried your hair for a while with cool air? Works for cigarette odor

MemberRobert, you would think so, but no, it’s that strong! Seriously, I should have known better since 90% of the comments said it was strong, but NOOOOOOOOOOOO.
