Is it true, that paraffinum liquidum or over mineral oil creates a film on the skin which doesn’t let toxins go out and generaly harmful for skin?

It’s true that paraffinum liquidum is mineral oil. It’s NOT true that it locks toxins in your skin. You can read more about mineral oil myths here:

But it is true that with prolonged usage skin isn’t activated as much to produce oils/ceramides, so you end in a kind of vicious circle, right? I’ve read that in “It’s OK to have Lead in Your Lipstick” or “The Beauty Aisle Insider” I believe.

In one of those books we proposed that idea as a hypothesis for how one might become addicted to lip balm. But lip skin is different from the rest of the body and I don’t think that vicious circle really exists.
