Thanks much for the discussion of argan oil vs. olive oil. I’m now using a 50/50 mix of coconut oil and olive oil as a deep conditioner . How about shea butter? How does it rate as a hair care ingredient?
As a conditioner coconut oil is best above all. But I would surely love to know about the use of Shea butter that you are talking about here.
Shea has not been proven to penetrate hair like coconut oil does so it won’t have the same protective properties.
Well, my friend I never had any problem with my long hair and so never had Shea butter for hair but I use different anti-aging products which composition includes Shea Butter as the main ingredient.
